Records Review / File Review
A file review, or records review, involves reading and summarizing salient information from the student's existing records.
This may include: - cumulative file - teacher's working file and data collection - special education records - attendance - previous FBA/BSPs - discipline records - health records. The file or records review will provide information regarding the history of the behavior and possible contributing factors. The information gathered can be summarized into an "ABC" hypothesis statement. |
